How it works

Capture. Score. Light.

LuminerseXD watches defined regions of the desktop, picks the strongest colour signal, and pushes HSV colour to the bulb with low-overhead local control.

Region sampling

A grid of capture zones reads the frame. The most vibrant region wins — so action on screen leads the palette, not a muddy full-frame average.

LiveAction loop

Toggle LiveAction to stream colour continuously. Dark scenes can power the bulb down; bright returns bring it back without a manual reset.

Smoother & lightning

Smoother blends toward the next colour to cut strobing. Lightning mode lifts brightness when the frame flashes — gunfire, cuts, UI pops — then settles again.

Smart bulbs: Local LAN control for Tuya / SmartLife colour bulbs — on, off, colour, and brightness without a cloud round-trip in the hot path.
Virtual bars: On-screen glow bars let you preview edge lighting while you tune thresholds — useful when the physical lamp is elsewhere.
Candle sense: Warm, flickering regions can be treated gently so candlelit scenes stay soft instead of getting overdriven.
Controls: Brightness cap, hue override, transition steps, delay, and dark sensitivity — dial the loop to your room and content.
